An incredible movie! - The Incredibles Reviews

I went to a midnight screening of this film, and I was in no way disappointed. The previews that were shown before the movie were for Star Wars Episode III, due out in May, and Pixar's Cars, which is due out next November. The film short, about the Jackelope and the Sheep, that played at the start of the movie was very entertaining and had a catchy tune that went along with it. The movie itself was very enjoyable, and it was made in a way that will be engaging to both kids and adults. The story is good, and the characters are very easy to relate to, because the Incredibles represent the average American semi-dysfunctional family that has trouble communicating, despite caring for each other. The environment in which the characters exist in is also very easy to relate to, because it mirrors problems in American society, such as the legal system, with everybody wanting to sue, and the insurance industry, with the focus being put on profits rather than clients. The super villian (Syndrome) in the movie is also done up very well, because although you will hate him, you will also be able to sympathize with his character and why he is the way that he is. Overall, I don't see any reason for anybody to give this movie a bad review. It delivers exactly what it says that it will in the previews, and it has significant family themes similar to Finding Nemo. It's also very well written, and every character in the movie is likeable. Get out and see this movie! Whether you're a kid or an adult, you won't be disappointed! A+
