"where's my super-suit?" - beyond incredible! - The Incredibles Reviews

I've watched animated Super Heros and read comics for years and this is a Welcome addition to the Lexicon of Super-Hero Traditions. I'm ready for a sequal, animated TV series, Breakfast Cerial...in all honesty I bought two of the movies action-figures (That normally come free w/ a 'Kiddie Meal') on a whim cause I was soo delighted with these characters. It's really a great story and easy to follow if your young but, for adults it's manages greater over-tones and is about the reality of the after-glow of being "Super" with jokes about Mid-life crisises, Secret Identidys VRS. Day-Jobs, Raising Super-Kids, and the need to want to be of service and Help others- Excellent lessons for ALL Ages!. There's No corny riffs on "Good vrs Evil" and there's also NO sexual content or Foul Language!- Minus the super-hero violence (Smashing buildings, explosive robots, and super-fighting) it's Tamer than both "Shrek" films and had a sly and witty humor more like "Toy Story". The Voice actors ALL enjoyable and no one gets painted as a 'Stock-Character' everyone advances the story and makes this a joy to behold. I must mention Jason Lee's performace as "Syndrome". His fans from the Kevin Smith movies will notice a few "Brodie Bruce" touches and he's perfectly placed in this film. The direction and Art-work were beyond Incredible! Sure "Skrek" made millions of dollars but, this is a whole new kinda cool and toke many more risks and this film deserves some kinda award at Oscar time simply cause it exists. There's also no cheap "product placement" and no catchy phrase or gimmicks it's simply a story of a Mid-level man who USED TO BE a hero and has to save the world after they've abandoned him- Incredibley told and concieved. Idol
