Solid family fun - The Incredibles Reviews

The Incredibles is solid fun from the moment it begins until the moment it ends. The latest output from Pixar is funny, charismatic, and, as always, beautifully animated. In my opinion, it is Disney and Pixar's greatest feat yet. The phrase "fun for the whole family" is overused, but this is a case where it really applies. It absolutely enthralls kids (when I saw it, half of the audience was under ten and none of them were squirming), while having enough subtle jokes to keep the adults laughing along with their children. It completely accomplishes its goal: even if you walk in not expecting to laugh at "a kid's movie", you'll be smiling at the sheer zany fun of the film. There's just no way around it. The story is great for its sheer absurdity, the visuals are breathtaking, and the fun the voice actors had when recording the film jumps off the screen. If you're looking for a movie to take the kids to this weekend, this is the must-see. And if you don't have kids, don't let that stop you.
